Creating a visual identity for the largest canola oil manufacturer in Africa.

As Africa's largest canola oil manufacturer, SOILL embodies a unique duality: the advanced technology and logistics of a market leader intertwined with a deep connection to nature and the planet. This balance was the cornerstone of the visual identity SOILL sought to create.

The challenge was to design a visual language that captured both the beauty of expansive canola fields and the logistical excellence that defines the brand. SOILL required a versatile toolkit to support the creation of collateral, documentation, and digital content.

The approach began with focusing on what remained constant—the SOILL logo. Its elements served as the foundation for building a cohesive visual language, seamlessly integrating natural aesthetics with a sense of technological precision.

As Lead Art Director, I guided the creative direction, ensuring the visual identity aligned with SOILL’s ethos. I also contributed to specific designs when client requests called for hands-on involvement, delivering a robust and flexible system that upheld the brand's vision across all platforms.
